“Over the past few years I have called on Sarah’s expertise to help with relatively minor ailments as Tennis Elbow and Bursitis. These conditions were always fixed with a combination of manipulation, acupuncture and the recommended exercises.
When in early 2017 I started noticing pins and needles in my left arm, I just thought that I had been sleeping awkwardly. This developed somewhat and I began going to a massage therapist who advised that muscle strain/knots were the most likely culprit. I very shortly realised that this was not the case and by the middle of 2017 I had contacted Sarah for her opinion. Within the first consultation she advised me to see my regular G.P. with a view to obtaining scans of my upper spinal area.
The scans showed that two disks in my cervical spine had collapsed causing the vertebrae to impinge on the spinal cord. I had to undergo an Anterior Cervical Discectomy and Fusion of the spine or risk permanent damage to the spinal cord.
This operation was conducted in August of 2017 and went well surgically. Fortunately, Sarah had advised me of the absolute necessity of an ongoing program of physiotherapy and rehabilitation. In hospital I had one or two basic physio sessions and then discharged.
Sarah took control of my recovery. In those early weeks she developed an exercise regime designed to promote tissue, muscle and nerve mending. I had complete confidence in her advice and am sure that without such advice, I would not be pain free today.
After that initial critical period of immediate recovery, Sarah then recommended Personal Training to take over rehabilitation but she always directed and maintained contact with both he and I as we moved forward.
Today, with just a minor restriction in neck range of movement, I am in better health than ever before and continue to exercise at the Gym as part of my normal weekly routine. More importantly, I can continue earning a livelihood and enjoy recreational pursuits that demand a good level of physical fitness.

Yoga For You: Again it is not a competition, more a gentle practice that Sarah encourages be done at your own pace or ability, and always under her watchful eye with alternatives offered if you are struggling.
